“We exist to glorify God, make disciples and nothing else.”
After returning from Mozambique, Nate and Jess Parrow adopted these words to live by in their young marriage. During their recent trip to Mozambique, Nate taught local pastors about cults and false teachings. For Jess, it was a homecoming.
As a young girl, Jess felt called to serve in international missions. During and after college, she served with the International Mission Board in their student missions and Journeyman programs. She first served in Niger and then two years in Mozambique, which captured her heart forever.
Now back in the States and married, Jess works at Arizona Baptist Children’s Services as a foster care specialist. She helps families as they foster and adopt children. Jess currently is working on her master’s degree at the Arizona Campus of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary to continue her education for missions.
During college, Nate lost three friends and this turned his heart toward reaching college students with the gospel. Nate has served with Christian Challenge as a campus missionary during the past three years. “God has done a mighty work in this ministry,” he says. Seeing the need for more education, he started working on his master’s degree at Golden Gate. Nate is transitioning from Christian Challenge as a campus missionary to a family pastor with Northern Hills Community Church in Phoenix.
The CP supports their missionary work on college campuses, Jess’s current work with Arizona Baptist Children’s Services and the seminary they both attend. Your giving helps the ministries Nate and Jess do and helps them live by their statement, “We exist to glorify God, make disciples and nothing else.”
Nate and Jessica Parrow are the CP.
Because you and your church give, You are the CP.
